Early American Decorative Arts

The Central New York chapter of the Historical Society of Early American Decoration is proud to display original pieces of tin, glass and wood alongside reproductions done by our members. We will have country tin, stenciling, free hand bronze, gold leaf, reverse glass painting, theorems, school girl art, pen work and more, all artwork that was part of the 1800-1850 American home.

On the First Friday Gallery Night, September 2nd, The History Center will host demonstrations and refreshments provided by the members of the Historical Society of Early American Decoration.

I generally paint , whether representational or abstract from the object in Imagination out, a sort of call and response. I go back and forth between me and It and between the forms, or lack of forms.
