Victoria Romanoff (sculpture) & Gillian Pederson-Krag (painting)
Gillian Pederson-Krag and Victoria Romanoff both earned BFA’s from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1962 . It was a period at RISD where there was a huge emphasis on the importance of drawing and they found that the education they received was challenging and inspiring. They took a further step and obtained Masters of Fine Arts degrees from Cornell University in the mid-1960’s.
Even though their work is quite different in their chosen materials and techniques , their former education and training provided a link that has remained visually cohesive.
The Community Arts Partnership thanks the Tompkins Trust Company for their generous sponsorship of the CAP ArtSpace and C.S.P. Management for sponsoring this exhibit.
