Join TCPL at the opening of “On Being Human” a multi-media art exhibit curated by Terry Plater. Under the leadership of Terry Plater, and in conjunction with the Smithsonian National Institute of Natural History’s traveling exhibit, “Exploring Human Origins:  What Does It Mean To Be Human?” ten local artists have come together to present—through their art–what they think it means to be human.

Featured artists include Ben Altman, William Benson, Gurdon Brewster, Jane Dennis, Mauro Marinelli, Terry Plater, Lin Price, Sheryl Sinkow, Werner Sun and Robyn Wishna.

The traveling exhibit “Exploring Human Origins” will also be open during Gallery night. Refreshments will be served in the BorgWarner Room. After 6:00 PM, entrance to the Library will be through the BorgWarner door, behind the bus shelter on Green Street.

This exhibit is made possible through grant support from the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County.
